The fifth World Peace Worship was held on Monday by Nepal Buddhist Association. The Monks of the Mahayana, Vajrayana and Theravids wished for world peace through the worship at Braka Social Services Committee Gumba in Swayambhu, Kathmandu. The Monks have wished for world peace for the well-being, longevity and peace of all living beings.

The Worship was performed in the chairmanship of His Eminence Chogyal Rinpoche. According to Sarbindra Thakur, chief of the NBA office, there were about six hundred monks and nuns have been participated in the Puja from 13 districts of country.

The monks who participated in the worship said that such activities would help in the preservation of Buddhist culture.
